Challenge

How to garner publicity, rejuvenate member involvement and attract new stakeholders to an organization over thirty years old with a successful track record of programming but little to no public attention.

Solution

We worked to create a comprehensive communication strategy with accompanying media materials and new innovative programming to attract a wider audience.

By focusing on the AIFL's core values, we formulated new programs centered around business leadership, education initiatives and cultural exchanges resulting in high turn out and participation. In addition, each program garnered national and global media attention through press embedding as part of the project. We were also able to help translate that new interest into high turnout and coverage for the AIFL annual gala at the Plaza Hotel in NYC.

In all, the AIFL was able to raise record contributions of over $1.2M two years in a row.

 

 

 

 

Challenge

How to help a small teacher training organization focused on inner-city public schools gain national attention and notoriety for their work.

Solution

We worked hand-in-hand with the NUA leadership and management to formulate new actionable press materials, web presence, social networking outlets and video. By participating in NUA meetings, training sessions and conference calls, we were able to capture the spirit of the organization in all our media and marketing materials resulting in robust press coverage.

The NUA recived favorable press coverage in every community in which it was active as well as national press coverage through letters to the editor.

In addition, through our targeted placements of op-eds and interviews, the NUA was able to build deeper community support and fidelity in each school district.
