Challenge

How to create a new import business with a focus on social responsibility and development.

Solution

We worked to create a comprehensive business plan and strategy from start to finish. First we discovered the passions behind the business, the skills of the people involved and all the essential data related to thier field of business. After much research, brainstorming, and facilitation we finalized the plan and strategy for the first 24 months. We then helped create the Artisan Emporia brand materials including a mission statement, logo, and tag line, as well as build a robust and fully functional ecommerce site. We also helped secure seed money to get them started.

By the second year in business they grew from an initial $30,000 investment to grossing $200,000+.

 

 

 

 

 

Challenge

How to take an exisiting piece-by-piece manufacturing process for fashion accessories in Guatemala and scale-up operations to meet international demand.

Solution

After numerous site visits and a detailed forensic accounting study to understand the business from the ground-up, we helped Lento create a fully operational artisan workshop.

With capacity to employ up to 20 artisans and craftspeople Lento was able to manage it's manufacturing process and quality control targets from start to finish, under one-roof.

Within 3 months of opening the new space, Lento exports grew 200%.
